 This “hand pump” pump is carried to small fires, e.g. a kitchen stove or a waste basket fire. It weighs about 50 lbs. This, together with an ax, pike pole, helmet, boots, coat, mask, oxygen bottle and harness, weigh well over 100 pounds. Like many objects around a firehouse, it is carefully crafted and beautiful in both form and function.
